No one plans to become an Internally Displaced or a refugee or an orphan. However, currently 108.4 million people are displaced worldwide, forced to flee to escape conflict, persecution, or other humanitarian crises and many more are orphaned.

Often they must flee with little more than the clothes they are wearing and the few belongings they can carry in their arms.

In emergencies, Beyond the Pews for Life Africa is there for people forced to flee. When people have been forced from their homes by conflict or persecution, BTPLA is there to save lives.
When emergency strikes, Beyond the Pews for Life Africa responds swiftly to bring relief. Our emergency response team provides restoration and hope to those affected by supplying them with food, water, shelter, and additional essentials.

We are there throughout the initial crisis and we stay long after the headlines have moved on.

But we cannot do this alone. Your support is crucial to providing life-saving assistance to those on humanitarian crisis.

BY DONATING TOWARDS OUR EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROGRAM, YOU WILL BE PROVIDING AID WHERE IT IS MOST NEEDED TO THOSE SUFFERING IN CRITICAL SITUATIONS

Internationally, BTPLA has provided emergency supplies to orphans, widows, and refugees in various disaster-stricken areas. Our extensive team of humanitarian staff and volunteers continue to work tirelessly around the clock in emergency situations to relieve those who’ve been affected.

Domestically, our team is ready to provide urgent relief where needed as well. In the past, we have facilitated access to emergency supplies in areas suffering from the water crisis.

By donating towards our Emergency Response program, you will be providing aid where it is most needed to those suffering in critical situations. Our team on the ground will distribute vital resources, including food, water and healthcare aid to everyone in need, with an emphasis on women, children and the differently-abled.
